By using Rivva, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

• Email address or mobile phone number used for login

• Authentication method used (verification code or magic link)

      We do not store or collect passwords.

1.2 Baby & Caregiver Information

Entered voluntarily by users, including:

• Baby nickname, age, or birth date

• Feeding, diaper, stool, sleep, growth, and caregiving logs

• Notes or observational data

• Images uploaded for insight processing (e.g., diaper/stool photos)

1.3 Stored Images

Rivva may store a reduced-size version of uploaded images so users can view them later in history or logs.

1.4 Device & Usage Data

• Device type, OS version

• App usage and screen activity

• Crash reports and diagnostics

2. AI Image & Data Processing

If you upload images for AI insights:

• Images are securely passed to the Google Gemini API to generate analysis results.

• Baby.ai LLC does not operate or train any machine-learning models.

• Insight metadata (e.g., “yellowish color,” “watery texture”) may be saved for charts and history.

• Baby.ai LLC does not control how Google stores or uses images processed by Gemini, and Google’s policies apply.

• You may delete stored images or insight when you delete a baby profile.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve-app functionality

• Generate analytics and insight visualizations

• Support caregivers in tracking baby needs

• Power AI-based features when requested

• Communicate service updates

• Maintain security and prevent misuse

We do not sell personal information.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

• Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, AI processors)

• Law enforcement if required by law

• Entities involved in a merger or acquisition (with notice)

We do not share data for advertising or third-party marketing.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data while your account is active. You may request deletion through the app by deleting your account. We may retain limited information to comply with legal requirements.

6. Children’s Privacy

Rivva is intended to be used by adults tracking infant data. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.

7. Security

We use encryption and industry-standard security measures, but no system is perfectly secure. Users are responsible for protecting access to their accounts.
